Polyurethane cables provide a soft highly retractable coil. Very hard wearing, oil and water resistant, are halogen-free, flame-resistant, and have excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. Suitable for use in harsh environments, providing a long lasting coil retention.
Polyurethane is a highly flexible polymer commonly used in continuous flex applications. For retractile cords, a PUR jacket cable material is chosen since it has excellent memory properties. It is the preferred choice for coiled power and data cables.
